About John Boudreau
Expert in authentic leadership development, John Boudreau is a professor and research director of the Marshall school of business and centre for effective organisations at the University of Southern California.

Criteria
All applications for the people management initiative categories must address the following five criteria:

  1. Innovation: The initiative is based on/incorporates a new approach to addressing the specific challenge the organisation is facing
  2. Impact: The initiative has made a significant impact as its intention on the challenge faced by the organisation and/or business outcomes.
  3. Outcomes: The initiative has achieved or exceeded its objectives
  4. Sustainable: The outcomes achieved are sustainable and/or replicable
  5. Community: The outcomes of the initiative provide benefit outside of the organisation and can be used to educate others.

Applicants for this award must also demonstrate the following:

  1. Scientific Principles: The initiative applies proven scientific principles in human capital management decisions.
  2. Decision systems: The initiative enhances the way people decisions are made and extends the decision making process outside of the HR function.
  3. Metrics and analytics: The initiative exemplifies and puts into practice innovative human capital measures and analysis.
